The thirteenth conference of the informal organization FREJA FORUM, which has been organizing programs for over a decade dedicated to a variety of topics with the overall aim of fostering democratic processes through the construction of various networks of cooperation in the Western Balkans, was held from 8 to 10 November in Skopje, at the premises of the Northern Macedonia Assembly.

"Democracy, Equal Opportunities and the Digital Economy" was the umbrella theme of a panel organized in three seminars, followed by eight expert workshops. Among the eight participants from Serbia, representative of the Association of Business Women and Other Civil Society Organizations, was Marija Slavkovic, owner of MS FINANCE & ACCOUNTING. On this occasion, she met with the Minister of Finance of Northern Macedonia, Mrs. Nina Angelovski, who wished the participants welcome and successful work on behalf of the Macedonian Government and discussed the results of the FREJA FORUM highlighted through the establishment of cooperation, multiethnicity, multisectorality and multiculturalism between non-profit organizations, the private sector. and institutions in the Western Balkans.

For over 13 years, the FREJA FORUM has been organizing conferences bringing together representatives of Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Turkey and Sweden to discuss equality, democracy and civil society. Thanks to the results so far, the FREJA FORUM, which was initiated in Sweden and implemented in all the countries mentioned above, was in 2017 officially nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
